Robert is a Chartered Accountant. Having spent his qualifying years with a respected city accountancy firm, he joined Price Waterhouse (now PriceWaterhouseCoopers) in 1979. In 1983 he started 10 years working in industry. His varied roles included being a finance manager with a life insurance company, the Finance Director at a fast growing computer services company and latterly a senior manager with an international bank, based in New York.
Frith & Co was founded in 1993 and since then it successfully grew as an accountancy practice every year to become one of the largest and most successful sole practitioners in the UK. He sold this in 2017. He has lectured on taxation and reads extensively on current affairs and economics. He was educated at Reigate Grammar School, Surrey.
For business, he has recently published his own book on entrepreneurs ‘Drive like a Real Entrepreneur’ questioning if they are born or made and written a guest chapter in Mark Lloydbottom’s book, ‘Deeper’.
He is now turning his attention to consultancy, writing speculative fiction commenting and covering subjects such as the new social order, the current political world and economics and speaking engagements.
He is interested in all sport and actively plays golf. He is currently Chairman of a national charity.
