So, self-belief is a unique factor for the entrepreneur and they generally possess it in abundance.
However, do they seek advice and if so, when and how?
Our survey asked if they sought advice. 89% said they did. You may be surprised the statistic is that high given the focus and strong characteristics they have. However this proves that the entrepreneur has this excellent trait otherwise it could be considered they were arrogant.
Arrogance of course, could lead very readily to failure.
The advice would ordinarily be from a professional in their own area, perhaps a skill the entrepreneur does not have, yet.
The entrepreneur remains driven and that is a characteristic one would associate from strife. The entrepreneur’s background perhaps being from a lower class or perhaps an immigrant with no roots in their new adopted country. They have to find shelter, proper housing, food and clothing for themselves. Hardship strengthens the resolve. Probably even not possessing the mother tongue and having to learn a new language leads one to think it would put you at an immediate and distinct disadvantage, however our entrepreneur survives and then goes on to seek success.
The inner drive takes over.
