Bringing the team together

The entrepreneur has to be a hardy and very special person.

Bringing the team together

The entrepreneur has to deal with;

  • over indulgent customers
  • unsupportive suppliers
  • annoying landlords
  • difficult staffing issues…….
  • requirements to raise finance

all possibly occurring during the life of the business, if not at the same time, perhaps.

The internal workers, such as the team players who look at their roles introvertly such as the monitor or evaluator will not necessarily be able to take on board these external forces, let alone deal with one or more at any one time.

The entrepreneur has to be a hardy and very special person.

Perhaps some skills which are required would be;

  • organisational
  • communication both written and oral
  • ability to delegate

Let alone the very special skills of understanding the marketplace, delivering the business to that and to have a special vision of where the business and company must go.

Charisma has not been spoken about in these insights but is always quite clear that any successful entrepreneur or leader has charisma. He or she has to lead, speak in public and communicate their visions for others to follow.

Workers in a team take great comfort in knowing the plan ahead.

The team members buy in to the plan.
